The app, designed: three frames and the framework under them

On 2026-07-28 the app goal (#79, the safetyGraphics replacement on the open.gismo arc) took a design pass in two halves: what the app looks like — three shell/navigation directions carrying the two surfaces @jwildfire picked, the chart-viewing workflow and the snapshot/demo-study surface, with a recommendation worked in detail — and what runs underneath it — workr pipelines, config-as-code in a forkable study repo, and Project Snapshots as the only data interface, inventoried against what exists in-tree today. The direction was approved in session and turned straight into a build requirement, #134 (demo-301 v0); this page is the permanent record of the design it cites.

The two documents

What is real here

Where this goes next. The approved direction is being built as #134 — demo-301 v0, a forkable demo study whose Actions runs publish Project Snapshots the app renders live, with Safety and RBQM as its two Domains. The GitHub-role decisions these documents build on (D1/D2/D6) are on #34.
