bio.viz
bio.viz is a charting library for comparing groups and relating variables in biomarker data. It runs beside safety.viz and reuses its shared parts, and it computes no statistical test itself: each one is asked of R.
The charts
The gallery has the charts that are published, each with a live demo on a made-up study. A chart draws; it does not test. Every test is computed by R, and the charts say so where one would be printed.

What is in it 9 modules
Library core
The entry point, the two committed bundles, and the two steps every chart shares before it draws: naming a variable, and resolving one row per participant.
85 requirements · 186 of 186 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Connection to R
The one call a chart makes to get a statistic from R, answered from stored results, by R in the browser or by R on a server, and the shared rule for printing a p-value.
96 requirements · 208 of 208 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Getting results out
What lets a chart leave the browser and still say what it is: titles and footnotes, a PNG, the tables as CSV, and a specification that rebuilds the chart.
66 requirements · 183 of 183 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Group comparison
Does this biomarker differ between these groups? A trend tile for every biomarker, then one biomarker across the visits or at one visit, with R's test of the groups.
201 requirements · 328 of 328 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Association scatter
Do these two variables move together? One point per participant, coloured by a group, with R's Pearson or Spearman coefficient under it and R's linear fit or smooth over it.
88 requirements · 199 of 199 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Correlation matrix
Which of these biomarkers, or which visits of one biomarker, are related? A grid of R's Pearson or Spearman coefficients, with no p-value, each cell opening its pair as a scatter.
75 requirements · 187 of 187 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Biomarker screen
Across every biomarker, where is the signal? One row per biomarker, sorted by R's estimate, with its interval and its unadjusted and adjusted p-values.
86 requirements · 198 of 198 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Cross-tabulation
Is this category associated with that one? A two-way table of counts and percentages beside stacked bars, with R's chi-square or Fisher's exact test.
39 requirements · 148 of 148 test records passing · Requirement matrix
Stratified survival Experimental
The curves are safety.viz's Kaplan–Meier estimator, kmEstimate, which awaits its clinical review.
Do participants with high and low levels of this biomarker have different outcomes? Kaplan–Meier curves per group above the biomarker's histogram, with R's log-rank test.
42 requirements · 151 of 151 test records passing · Requirement matrix
The gallery lists each chart, with the tests that prove it and the reference for calling it.
R in the browser, checked
The R check page runs two real tests through R in this browser, shows each answer beside the one desktop R gives, and reports what starting R costs in megabytes and seconds.
