One prompt β "start a session, pick a few deliverables, spawn subsessions, and see how far you can get without me tonight" β and then the room was empty. The lead session opened with /session-init, chose four deliverables off the carried list, and ran them to the edge of every human gate. It kept the judgment work for itself (the Jim Buchanan blog rewrite; board hygiene) and forked the buildable work to three background workers running in parallel: a shared view-selector across the whole chart suite, the long-carried gsm.safety v1.0.0 re-pin, and the requirement matrices that make evidence pages legible. All three finished, verified green, and stopped exactly where they should β at @jwildfire's merge gates. Nothing was merged. Four things now wait for one review each.
βοΈ Blog Diary #7 rewrite β the Jim Buchanan story, reframed (blog PR #9; πΊπ€ lead)
The top carried priority: last session's #7 outline was a technical-spec scaffold; @jwildfire directed a major rewrite into a first-person dev-diary story. The spine is now the Jim Buchanan conversation and the one-session collaboration arc; the dense FDA composite-method beats are compressed into a Facts-as-backing block rather than the body; the whole thing is shorter and higher-altitude.
Preserved intact: the verbatim lede (two flagged typo fixes), the embedded gif, the filled tokens/$ card, and the Opus-4.8 model correction. The gif figure was re-pointed to the production hep-explorer URL now that PR #69 has shipped in v1.4.0 (the old pr/69 preview is torn down). series_part left unset with a #7-vs-#8 recommendation. Still an outline β @jwildfire writes the prose.
ποΈ Shared view selector across the chart suite (hub #41 β sv#76 β PR #78; β‘οΈπ€ view-selector-rollout)
The always-visible view-option list shipped twice in v1.4.0 (hep-explorer, qt-explorer) as duplicated module-scoped code. This ultracode session extracted it into one shared shell builder (renderViewSelector + CSS, 4 unit tests) and migrated both consumers β duplicate CSS and builders deleted, a pixel-identical visual no-op (the evidence-update produced zero PNG baseline changes, confirming it).
The honest finding: an inventory ruled all nine other renderers genuinely single-view (histogram's listing is a bar-click drill-down, not a representation switch), so none gained the control β they got a one-line coverage-doc note instead. Suite-wide evidence records (VIEW-SEL-001..004), a 3-lens adversarial review with 0 findings, 461 unit + 156 e2e green. Incidental catch: the v1.4.0 release missed the e2e-fixture version bump (10 fixtures still on 1.3.1) β fixed here.
𧬠gsm.safety v1.0.0 RC1 to the gate β the 4Γ-carried item (gs PR #39; hub #28; π―π€ gsm-safety-rc1)
Carried four sessions running. This sibling verified gs#40's scope was present, then re-pinned the vendored safety.viz bundle from v1.2.0 to v1.4.0 (assessed low-risk: six of seven widget schemas identical, hep-explorer adds only an optional view setting) β bundle re-vendored, seven widget YAMLs + the hep schema + the test-package path + NEWS all updated.
House gate clean: devtools::test 230 pass / 0 fail, devtools::checkStatus OK (0/0/0). gs#40 closed with the scope verified. The RC1 evidence bundle on the hub was refreshed to v1.4.0 and re-deployed (green). PR #39 (release/v1.0.0 β main) is mergeable and now sits purely at @jwildfire's merge + tag gate.
π§Ύ Requirement matrices β evidence pages that read as English (oa PR #28; π―π€ req-matrices)
Evidence pages resolve requirement text by exact ID match; without a matching matrix row they degrade to bare IDs. Recon found two defects in the hep matrix (7 HEP-COMP-* rows missing after the composite plot, 7 split-ID mismatches) and no qt matrix at all.
Fixed on PR #28: the hep matrix refreshed (splitβbase merges + the 7 composite rows) so all 44 HEP-* evidence IDs resolve, and a new 47-row qt-explorer Phase-1 matrix so all 45 QT-* IDs resolve (Phase 2 explicitly out of scope). Verified end-to-end through safety.viz's real parser with zero safety.viz files touched; a durable memory captured how matrix resolution works. Draft, at the merge gate.
π§Ή Board hygiene, attribution, and a config-debt catch (πΊπ€ lead)
Full board read (94 items, no truncation). Applied the pending Fable-5 β Opus-4.8 attribution correction on hub #36 and sv#68 (and their local drafts) β a factual fix matching @jwildfire's explicit 07-17 directive; zero Fable-5 references remain.
Filed sv#77: site/config.json's matrixBaseUrl still points to the old safety.agent repo name (renamed obot.agent on 07-11), resolving only through a GitHub 301 redirect β surfaced by the matrix work.
Corrected: attribution on hub #36 + sv#68 (Fable 5 β Opus 4.8).
Blockers / risks
Everything waits on one human, by design. Four deliverables are green and parked at @jwildfire's gates β three draft PRs (sv #78, oa #28, gs #39) plus the blog outline (#9). The autonomous run's job was to get them there, not through; nothing was merged, and the gsm.safety tag is his to cut.
gsm.safety re-pin needs a real load-test on merge. The v1.4.0 bump passed check and the widget schemas are near-identical, but the confidence is static-analysis + unit level; the first end-to-end report render against the new bundle is the real proof β worth a look before tagging.
Config debt (sv#77) is a latent break: the matrix links work only via GitHub's rename redirect and would fail if a safety.agent repo ever reappears under the account.
Next session: loose ends
Merge gates (all agent work done, awaiting @jwildfire):gs PR #39 merge + tag (the 4Γ-carried item, finally at the gate β hub #28); sv PR #78 merge β then hub #41 is done; oa PR #28 merge β then run safety.viz npm run requirements to regenerate the two extracts, and fix sv#77 in the same pass.
Blog #7: pick a title, confirm the rewrite direction, resolve the #7-vs-#8 numbering; then @jwildfire proses it up (blog PR #9, hub #22).
Carried, still gated on @jwildfire: nepExplorer D1βD3 (hub #35); decisions on hub #34 D1βD6 and hub #18 Q1βQ4; keynote K2βK4; og PR #1; hub #24 close-out.
Proposed scaffold (needs a nod): the safety.viz-release skill (still unbuilt) β and fold into its checklist the e2e-fixture version bump that v1.4.0 missed and that the view-selector worker had to fix by hand.
π ToDo (@jwildfire)
Four one-click reviews: sv #78, oa #28, gs #39 (+ tag), and the blog #9 direction. Each is green and self-contained.
hub #36 board status: QT Phase 1 is released, Phase 2 (#37) is filed β is "Development" right for the phased parent, or should it read "Released" with #37 tracking the rest? (Carried, still open.)
v1.4.0 milestone: create it + backfill #67/#68/#71/#73 for a clean release page? (Carried, optional.)
