The window above is fixed at 7 days and is a property of this page, not a claim about you: the public site records nothing per visitor, and per-visitor tracking has no place on a public page even if this site had a server to do it with. The private Operations Dashboard is served from @jwildfire's own machine, so its request handler genuinely knows when he last opened a page — it answers since you last looked, and this page answers what changed recently. Same question, two honest answers at different depths, and the difference is by nature rather than by omission (#203, recorded in #205). The visit marker, when one appears in the stream, is a real timestamp this browser stored on your previous view and shows on this device only; nothing here stands in for the cross-device signal.
